English Law governs all purchases via this web site.

Placing an order with Cake-Links Ltd is acceptance of these terms and conditions.


2. Pricing
Prices and Products are subject to change without notice. Every effort is made to ensure our website prices are correct, however we reserve the right to alter prices where necessary.
We try to keep our website prices low in order to be competitive in the online market place. Therefore prices on the Cake-Links web site may differ to those in store, or in any printed advertisements or catalogues.



3. Stock Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Where appropriate an item sustitution of equal price and quality may be made, however if you are not completely satisfied with the substitution you can return it to us and we will pay the return costs.
If we are unable to substitute an item we will contact you by phone and or email to arrange either a different item or a refund for the item, or a full refund if you would like to cancel the whole order.

4. Ordering
Orders are subject to approval.
We may contact you for example if you order an age restricted product e.g. a craft knife.
When processing your order, the information provided will be subject to credit and fraud prevention checks.

There may be circumstances where an order will not be accepted and this at the discretion of Cake-Links Ltd.

5. Data Protection
Cake-Links will keep records of past orders and delivery/invoicing details but not credit card details. Cake-Links may occasionally contact you regarding new products and services. We do not give your contact details including your e-mail address to third parties.
When processing your order, any information you provide is subject to credit and fraud prevention checks. For these purposes we may transfer your information to a secure trusted third party for example a banking / credit card processing system.

6. Payment
Credit or debit card payments are made when an order is placed. In the event that Cake-Links Ltd cannot fulfill an order, the customer will be contacted by phone and or e-mail to arrange either an extended delivery time or refund of out of stock items

7. Delivery of your order
We aim to despatch your order within 3-7 working days unless otherwise stated.
(If all items are in stock, we normally despatch orders in 1-3 working days!)
Delivery times stated are estimates only.
Delivery charges are added at the end of your order, these are based on the estimated weight of your order, if the package weighs more than we expected we will pay the extra postage costs!
In order to aid fraud prevention your first delivery from us, will only be made to the cardholder's address when paying with a credit or debit card. You may contact our sales team on 01202 496249 to change the delivery address for future orders, after you have purchased with us by card and received a delivery at you cardholder address.
Change of delivery address is at the discretion of our sales team.




8. Refunds and Returned Goods
Consumables (e.g some edible powders, icing, sugar decorations), opened CD's, DVD's, Videos and cut ribbons, are not subjct to our 7 day cooling off period for returns.

We want you to be delighted with your purchases from us. If your goods do not arrive in perfect condition, simply follow the instructions below. To help us sort out any problems as quickly as possible please use the following steps :-
i. Inform us of your complaint by e-mail as soon as possible, or at least within 7 days of receiving your order
ii. At our request, you agree to return the goods in question to reach us preferably within 14 days of the date you originally received them. For your own protection when returning items, please use recorded delivery - retaining your Post Office Recorded Delivery slip and receipt - since we cannot process claims until the goods are back in our possession.

iii. You should pre-pay the cost of return postage and packing including recorded delivery. We will refund this cost to you providing we are satisfied that the goods were of unsatisfactory quality when dispatched or were damaged in transit.

Refunds will only be paid by means of original payment. We cannot refund onto another card issuer's credit or debit card. Refunds will only be given on receipt of returned goods.

9. Security and Fraud
Cake-Links Ltd take reasonable care to protect the confidentiality of your personal details and credit/debit card details. Cake-Links Ltd is not liable if through no fault of it's own, your details are intercepted and used by third parties.

Cake-Links Ltd is registered with the Data Controller and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 any customer personal details are strictly confidential.
All credit card information is transmitted via a 128-bit secure socket layer, to ProtX secure credit card processing service.

10. Privacy Policy
Information and data collected by Cake-Links Ltd is used exclusively for order fulfilment, and our own website development.

Cake-Links Ltd does not sell, share, trade or distribute any personal information relating to you and your order history to third parties.
Cake-Links Ltd is registered with the Data Controller and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 any customer personal details are strictly confidential.
