A superb range of extra concentrated paste colours. How often have you struggled making your own black or red sugarpaste? or worse still get pink or grey buttercream!
These colours are super concentrated, so you use less of the colour to get to your desired shade. We recommend kneading the colour into sugarpaste until you are happy, and then putting your icing or marzipan into a plastic food bag and allow to stand for at least 30 minutes, but much longer if you can (do not wrap in cling film!). This will allow the icing to come back to room temperature (don't put it in the fridge), and allow the colour to develop which may mean that your icing will deepen in colour slightly.
I don't normally like renshaws icing for covering cakes, as I normally get elephant skin effect. But I thought I'd give it a go as I'd heard this one was very good. It was amazing, it rolled out nicely and when I covered the cake it went on with ease with no elephant skin. It tastes nice too. I will definitely be using this again, and would recommended it highly.
