Superb quality professional Gel Paste food colours, simply add a little to Buttercream, Sugarpaste (roll out icing), Cake mixture for rainbow layers, frosting, or marzipan, using a cocktail stick, and knead or beat through until you are happy with the depth of colour. All colours can be taken from a pale 'pastel' shade through to a deep colour e.g. pastel blue through to royal blue.

Sugarflair paste food colourings, are perfect for kneading into Sugarpaste (rolled fondant), marzipan, use to colour sponge cakes for making Rainbow layer cakes, royal icing (not suitable for run out work), Buttercream and more! These concentrated colours give a depth of colour that is difficult to achieve with liquids, they are also well suited to pastes such as marzipan and icing, and produce a less sticky paste once the colour is kneaded in. We always recommend kneading the colour into your paste then leaving for 30 minutes or longer (in a sealed plastic bag - not cling film) before using, as the effect of kneading the colour through the icing makes it slightly too elastic to work with initially, and so the icing should be left to cool (to room temp - do not refrigerate) and the colour develop.
